Seattle, WA | multifamily residential rehabilitation | 10 apartments | 9,000 sf
Comprehensive rehabilitation of a 1966 apartment building in Capitol Hill. The project modernized the building inside and out while preserving its original footprint. Work included complete interior redesign of the ten existing units and comprehensive envelope upgrades for the building. The two-bedroom apartments were reconfigured to add a second bathroom to each unit along with updated kitchens, fixtures and finishes throughout. A new exterior stair and ADA accessible ramp were added as part of the project. Recladding and custom railings refreshed the building’s exterior and accessibility improvements, high-efficiency systems and energy upgrades brought the building into compliance with current codes and building performance goals.
