Lynnwood Detox is a conversion of a vacant 1993 commercial space into a 16-bed residential detox facility. The design worked within the constraints of the existing structure to add daylight and create an inviting, observable environment for clients and staff in alignment with the client’s clinical model. 

Funded by Snohomish County and the North Sound Behavioral Health Administrative Service Organization, the facility provided, at the time of completion, the first detox beds in South Snohomish County, expanding access to treatment in a region with limited options.
